Sport Management Society
The Sport Management Society is a collection of the most dedicated, hard-working sport management majors on the Rice campus. This group is active in meeting with high-profile members of the sport industry, attending professional contests, working prestigious local events, receiving tours of facilities, etc.

Several members of the Sport Management Society watched the Houston Astros defeat the Cincinnati Reds, 6-5, from a sky suite on May 2, 2004. The trip to the game served as a reward from the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority to thank the crew for their efforts in helping organize the Southwestern Athletic Conference Championships which were held in Houston during the spring semester.
