Tom Stallings: "College sports has been undergoing changes with talented coaches earning higher and higher salaries. To recruit and retain these coaches, college athletic programs need to aggressively sell tickets and sponsorships in order to generate the revenue necessary to remain competitive. Fans attending games will not only visit Tudor Field House because of the novelty of a new arena, but will also return once they have been exposed to the modern amenities from a state of the art center scoreboard to upgraded concessions to comfortable seating. The marketing department for Rice Athletics will have a much easier time selling tickets this season!"
